Start up

Hey guys!

OK, so this is the start of my blog...

ASSIGNMENT ONE:

My brain's been kind of dead recently, but here's a meddely of things that have been swirling around up there:

Peephole/keyhole --> shooting through that
A light source above a fan...light getting sprayed around
Mirror on the floor - somebody walks across it, record that
idea 1: maps of light ...man's illumination, loss of knowledge, lightness and darkness, evolution, following maps of light, navigating by light, constellations, shadows...

idea 2: city of shadows (wrote a poem about that)......................how the hell am i gonna do that?

idea 3: allegory of life...people in a room, the clock = the light of the sun moving across the floor (shining thru a window), as the day sets life closes, day closes, possibilities close, human emotions, shadow cast faces, interacting all with a chair, solo, barren feel......CLICHE?????

idea 4: randomness...trying to figure out how to pull this one together: trapt by light, lights changing the dynamics of the environment : dude walking down the street at night, (using car headlights) strong beams of light shine, more shine, enclosing him, they have a "weight" and "force", can push and pull him...new scene: bowl of white paint, bowl of black paint..character dips head in black paint, everything goes to black, absence of light...dude dips his head in white paint...everything goes to white....how do i eliminate a shadow? bah

i'm a little worried. i can't really seem to settle on something i'm happy with. so far, i think the trapped by light (headlights of a car, me-he 0_0) is my number one. prrreeesssuuure. gah
